Can you use cash app for albert?

Albert is an advance payday app that enable salary earners gain access to their weekly or monthly pay before the actual payment day or cycle. Albert unlike some advance payday app, render this service to their users for free without placing extra fees or returns on the money they give out. With Albert, you can get up to $250 advance payment before your next payday or future pay and repay when the money land’s in your account.  

Note: when you create an account on Albert, you will be prompted to link up all your accounts to accept your deposit and from the same account they will deduct their money. So cash app being a payment platform, some persons are curious whether it can be use to receive payment from Albert. In this post we shall discuss about that.

Can you use cash app for albert?  

No, you cannot use cash app to receive payment deposit from Albert. Cash app is not a bank, it’s just a peer2peer wallet that can be use to send and receive payment. Another reason is, cash app does not assign direct Account Number to it’s users that is why it cannot be use to receive albert deposit.  

Does albert work with cash app?

Having said earlier, No you cannot use cash app because albert doesn’t support prepaid accounts and cards. Albert need a physical bank account details in order to track balance and calculate your net worth, but if you wish to send in money to and fro within your cash app account and albert account you are good to go. Just have the both accounts linked.

How to link cash app to albert?

Yes you can link cash app up with your Albert through debit card from your cash app account. However, you need to apply for albert debit card first then proceed to cash app. If you have an active card you have linked, you will have to remove it before adding Albert debit card. You know cash app permit only one card per account.  

1. Login into your cash app and from the dashboard click on “Profile icon”.
2. Click on “Linked Banks” and “Link Card” add your Albert debit card by entering the card details. 
3. Follow all the remaining instructions as prompted and ensure you complete the verification process. 
4. When that is successful, both accounts will be linked.

Now you can add money into your cash app account when you select “Add cash” from Albert card or transfer money out into Albert account, this will incur some fees.
